  • Serve as administrator for Duke/China undergraduate visiting student and transfer programs
  • Coordination of visits by faculty in Physics to Chinese universities, and faculty from partner universities and others in China to visit Duke Physics department
  • Work with the Physics Department Chair and the China Faculty Council to develop the Duke to China side of the exchange program
  • Work with Duke Physics Faculty to develop Physics Summer School Courses targeted to international students. Coordinate with summer school about the offering of these courses as well as interests in these summer courses from students at our partner universities in China
  • Coordinate with Office for DKU and China initiatives about faculty teaching at DKU
  • Provide financial/administrative support for Gauthier and Behringer groups

Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory (TUNL) Support Staff

  • Administration Management of TUNL research facilities and labs to include: LENA, FEL/HIGS, and TUNL
  • Primary point of contact for all TUNL scientists to include: Policies and Procedures, New visitor liaison to include check in procedures, safety training, ID card validation, Issuing of Duke ID Card, parking, and building access.
  • All imports and exports to the lab in conjunction with the Export Control Office

  • Financial management and assisting of the procurement of goods and services for TUNL and upholding Duke/Federal compliance regulations
