The Physics Department welcomes back Prof. Daniel Gauthier to the chair's seat. Prof. Gauthier is on board as Interim Chair for the next year and a half as Prof. Haiyan Gao has stepped down a bit early in order to continue her role with Duke Kunshan University (DKU) in a larger capacity as Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs.
