Joshua Bienfang, BS 1994, made the news this summer when he developed and demonstrated a way to send high speed encrypted messages using quantum physics. Bienfang worked in Prof. Dan Gauthier’s lab as an undergraduate and as a research scientist for one year, then went to the University of New Mexico for graduate school.
